Cleaning Ideas Corp. was started when Joe Davis founded Davis Manufacturing Company in 1929.

Joe's first product was a toilet bowl cleaner that he would go business to business taking orders on Monday, mixing the product on Tuesday, and make deliveries on Wednesday. As his business increased his customers asked for more types of cleaning products. The company continued to add various cleaning products and janitorial supplies as the years would progress.

As the 1940s progressed, Davis Manufacturing Company continued to expand to keep up with the growing demand for their exceptional products.
